Study: Genome sequence of Xenorhabdus bovienii from Steinernema intermedium isolated in South Carolina, USA.
show Abstracthide Abstract
We isolated the bacterial symbiont of Steinernema intermedium nematodes, which were originally from SC, USA. We confirmed the bacterium as Xenorhabdus bovienii by 16S and recA sequences. We sequenced the genome using Illumina paired-end reads and assembled the reads in VELVET. The genomes were annotated by MaGe (https://www.genoscope.cns.fr/agc/microscope/home/index.php).
